Found this interesting old french bow, not sure what the wood is, it's not pernambuco but looks like an unknown exotic hardwood? It has tiger stripes on top when you move it (just like snakeswood) it's very peccatte like (perhaps francois workshop?) any thoughts on what it might be?
oh and 2 brass pins in the button, partial original silk silver and copper lapping.
