Hi, I am thinking about taking up violin (I have a background in guitar and synthesizer). I saw this auction on Ebay:

I am a student, so the price is right. I can find out nothing about the seller, other than some fairly negative things said about him on this forum some years ago. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
