This bow is nickel mounted and the condition report states that the stick has been broken and repaired. The certificate written by Isaac Salchow in December of 2013 states that the bow is in a good state of restoration.
I have two questions regarding this bow. The first one is, how common are nickel mounted Sartory bows? I’ve never heard of one before.
The second question is, assuming that the stick had been broken and repaired prior to the certificate being written, is it normal for a certificate to not include information regarding a major repair, such as this? It does mention the originality aspect of the replacement button, but not the critical break.
Just curious. Thanks.
