What about this one?...CH Collin Mezin?...

This old fiddle was parked for about 40 yrs. I bought from an Estate Sale in the UK and claims of one crack rising up from the saddle about 25mm but no past repairs. It has damage to the varnish on the top plate as shown here. Looks like something spilled on it leaving an active reaction to the varnish? The neck looks like it needs a re-set or maybe it's just the photo angle and bridge/string placement?

Anyway I was wondering if the violin has any characteristic features of Ch senior, or junior. The outline and ff's look good to me but what do I know...lol. There is the sig. of Collin Mezin south of the sound post lower treble side on the back in pencil. I know there are lots of clones and I would imagine it could be German also but thought I would ask what you guys and gals think. There is a bow that comes with it and it's to be a surprise when I recieve it...so we'll see.

The varnish/color looks interesting, and the corners and edge work looks nice but what do you guys think? The label says:--

Ch. J. B. Collin Mezin
Luthier a Paris
Rue du Faub Poissonniere No29 double circle with cross and CM, date 1900 written vertical.

Oh, check out that chin rest...it has wings:)

Here are some photos and thanks for your opinions.
