I have been auditing the PegBox class for several months now and I am very much enjoying it. I think I have made it back through 130 pages of threads and picked up three of the suggested books. Thanks for all your posts and input. This is quite possibly the most interesting and colorful place I have found on the internet.

I haven't seen another like it (the varnish on the back). It looks like a certain period of furniture varnish (how dark overall, but also how it brought out the stripes). I assume its German?!?
Does anyone "know" this one?
